Dr. Micah Glenn Silengo | Therapy in Westlake Village and Ventura, California

Reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, especially when you’re already feeling overwhelmed or unsure of what comes next. I’m Dr. Micah Glenn Silengo, a registered Registered Psychological Associate (PSB94029958), and I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment where you feel comfortable being yourself. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, the effects of trauma, or challenges in your relationship, my approach is grounded in authenticity, compassion, and collaboration. Together, we’ll work toward meaningful changes that reflect your needs, values, and goals.

I earned my master’s and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from California Lutheran University. I have worked with individuals, couples, and groups in community, Veterans Affairs (VA), and private practice settings, primarily treating anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and relationship distress. These experiences have shaped my commitment to understanding each person’s unique story and tailoring treatment to their concerns.

My training includes evidence-based treatments such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Prolonged Exposure (PE). For couples, I draw on Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) to help partners understand patterns in their relationship and strengthen their emotional connection. I bring these approaches into our work collaboratively, helping you build on your strengths, navigate challenges, and improve your overall quality of life.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking with my Australian Shepherd and settling into a good book while soaking up the California sunshine.

If you’re looking for individual or couples therapy in Westlake Village, California, I invite you to reach out. I would welcome the opportunity to learn more about you and how I can support you.

I am currently under the supervision of Dr. Sarah Kappen, PsyD. California License PSY33804
